AdTech Graphic Service, long known regionally as a supplier of new and reconditioned printing and finishing equipment- moves forward on a new, exciting- expanded path - We continue to purchase good, solid used machinery for reconditioning by our experienced professionals. Additionally- we have developed “partnering” arrangements with several European and Asian manufacturers of specialty finishing equipment- involving design modification, manufacturing/assembly as well as North American distribution & support.

A new purpose built facility, to house new manufacturing operations, showrooms, reconditioning operations and distribution is being constructed in Bergen, NY (near Rochester, NY). This new headquarters is located just 20 minutes by auto, from the Rochester International Airport, and just 3 miles north of the New York Thruway. Easy access for shipping and accessibility for customer demonstrations and agent/technician training, were important factors in the choice of this location.

AdTech Graphic Service takes great pride in providing products that can be solid production machines, capable of creating profits for our customers. Our reconditioned machinery- like our new machinery, all must operate as new- and we work very hard to achieve that end. Most of our reconditioning efforts surround paper cutters, and their handling system peripherals; wire and adhesive book binding equipment and paper folding and packaging equipment. We will routinely have as many as 6-8 cutting systems, and 4 to 6 binding lines in reconditioning at most times. Many of these re-conditioned systems are equipped with very special Accessory System Equipment, designed and manufactured by AdTech in our workshop. These specially equipped machines, allow our customers to obtain production results that are many times - much more efficiently carried out, or otherwise undoable without much hand labor input.

With the explosion of the Internet as a marketing tool, our market, both to buy and sell this equipment, has become not only national - but also international.

With our new equipment offerings, AdTech Graphic Service has become an operation with greater depth and potential.

We have teamed up with one of the best cutting system peripheral equipment manufacturers in the world - the German firm Helmut Knorr Maschinenbau - to again bring this top quality equipment to the American Market.

A partnership has been forged with another German firm who has developed a design for a refined, compact, modular line of folder/gluers for Graphic Arts Converters. Not only will AdTech distribute this equipment across North America - but we will actually manufacture this product line- right here in New York- for “Made in America” European Machines. These are the AdTech/Bernardt- FKB series folder gluers.

The shorter run, simple and “On Demand” book markets, are another growing market for AdTech equipment also. Here we have developed a cooperative effort with the Asian manufacturer JMD. JMD machinery produces perfect binding and other book manufacturing machinery- designed by book making engineers.

With input from AdTech personnel, new perfect binders are being produced with features that make them productive, viable bookbinders for the very short to medium run markets. We are working now to field test this equipment and to train technicians to support this equipment lineup. New dealers/agents are being set up to further expand our sales and support structure. The AdTech/JMD machinery is proving to be extremely high quality, making excellent books and is an economical book production machine line.
