The
318 and 318 ‘CD’ Trimmers can now accept stitched and
folded booklets in-line from other machinery including
most tower collator finishing machines by using the
new Rosback 252 Universal Interface.
Avoid the added time, cost and problems associated
with guillotining saddle-stitched books off-line. The result... perfectly trimmed
and individually finished books ready for your on-demand
customers.
Some
differing and innovative 318 Trimmer features as compared
to the 250R Trimmer:
- Smaller
minimum size: 3-1/8" (79.4) x 5-13/16" (147.6) (Standard)
3-1/8” (79.4mm) x 4-1/2” (114.3mm) (‘CD’ Model)
- Micrometer
adjustment of book trim stops.
- Upper
and lower tapes for optimum control of the book and
less marking.
Has adjustable dwell for tapes while book is being
trimmed.
- Variable
speed delivery tapes.
- Electrical
interlock for brake (machine will not restart if you
forget to release the brake).
